Phoenix HX 14mm

The Phoenix HX is built for pop and not much else. Stiff at contact, almost no dwell, the ball comes off the face fast on counters and punch volleys. Drives load up quick and finish points when you commit to the swing. The soft game is where I struggled — resets and touch shots felt disconnected because there's no give in the face, so I had to be precise on every contact. Spin is just okay, nothing standout. If your game is hand speed and attacking, this works. If you reset a lot and play patient, look elsewhere.
