The Reload is unusual: the surface is replaceable. You can swap in a new grit sheet for fifty bucks instead of buying a new paddle when the texture wears down. The paddle itself is plush and stable — the swing weight is on the heavier side, so it's not the fastest in fast hand exchanges, but the higher twist weight makes off-center hits more playable. Drives don't carry deep; this is a control-first paddle. If you wear out grit fast and want a sustainable solution with a forgiving, plush feel, this is unique.
