SLK Dauntless Elongated 16mm

The Dauntless does the short game well — the foam core absorbs pace on aggressive drives so dinks and drops feel soft and controlled, and off-center hits stay in play. But baseline drives are the consistent weak spot. Serve speed is below average, spin RPM is below average, and swinging harder doesn't close the gap. Adding weight at the sides firms up the response, but at $180 you can find paddles that do more out of the box. Best fit only if the soft game is your priority and you don't drive much.
