Elite X 16mm

The Elite X 16mm is the calmer version of the 14mm — thicker core, softer rebound, and the ball actually dies on resets instead of springing off. Drops dip in. Touch shots stay where you put them. You give up some pop, so you'll have to swing more for the same pace, but the control margin is wider and off-center hits aren't as harsh. Same low twist weight, so forgiveness is still limited, but the thicker core absorbs more of the mishit before it travels into your wrist. Better fit for control-first players.
