The NEXX needs a real break-in — the first few sessions feel boardy, dwell is minimal, and drives come off flat. Stick with it for about a week and the face loosens, the core wakes up, and the swing weight starts translating into actual ball speed. Spin shows up immediately: drives dip late and bounce kicks hard off the peel-ply grit. The catch: twist weight is among the lowest in the catalog. Find center and the paddle's a weapon, miss it and you'll know through the handle. Weight at the sides helps.
