The S works. It has that same dense feel, the ball pocketing into the face before it comes off, but the response is clean and you know where it's going. The paddle moves well despite the weight. Drives have real pace when you accelerate. Resets stay soft when you don't. It took two games to adjust—that flex adds a small bounce under pressure until you learn it—but after that it felt right. The only trouble is the feel itself. It's damped and plush, not crisp. Some players need that instant pop. This is for players who generate their own pace and want touch when defending and power when attacking. It does both without lying to you.
